Shaders
This collection of shader images shows increasingly more complex patterns with furthering depths of colors. These patterns are intended to take on an almost 1990s vaporwave “Lisa Frank” style as they progress.
First: without adding color, I manipulated x & y values and sin values to add or subtract lines and shading to the patterns.
Next: I used layered patterns and shade steps to create new shapes to simulate opacity and texture.
Last: color was incorporated as well as noise. This added more depth to the already built up opacity and shapes. Altering the value of hue variables between 0.1 and 0.9 created different “moods.”
